Now, if you remember, Muffy the poodle came to me and asked me to look into the goings on with her owner, Sheree and Jason, who is the owner of Jack, the Jack Russell.
Now, the first thing that I did was have a private conversation with Jack. To tell you the truth, I find that Jack.is somewhat self-absorbed. All he likes to talk about is himself and what is going on in his own little world. Yet I did gain some useful information, Apparently, Jason is doing some pretty hefty house alterations...New kitchen, bathroom and he said that the lounge was going to have a makeover. In Jack's mind, he (Jack) was the main man on this project...Yeah, right!!!
Now to get this project done, Jason would have to get stuff from the local hardware store. I just happened to be acquainted with CJ the ally cat, who lives out the back of the shop.
He knows all the customers and hears all the discussions that go on in the shop. CJ told me that yes, Jason had been in and had discussed his situation with Doug, who gave him some advice on wallpapering. Then Jeff joined the conversation. Apparently, Jeff is well versed on the subject of carpentry and advised not to do it himself, but to give Frankie Long a ring. I had to smile to myself. Frankie Long , eh...lol....In my most humble opinion, Frankie couldn't make a hero sandwich, let alone do house alterations. I just couldn't wait to hear the rest of the story. But I wanted to know about Sheree. Had she been into the shop? "Oh, yes" CJ told me. Sheree had been in buying things like a hammer and screwdriver. She was kitting herself out for some kind of work. Well, it was obvious that I was on the right track

A few things you ought to know
Friends often ask me how I got into this line of work.I think I always knew that this was the right way to go, even as a pup. I always liked hiking and treasure hunts. My humans are so funny. They try to trick me, but it never works. My nose is so powerful that I can tell where things are right away. One day, one of the humans decided that he had a gift for communicating with animals. WOW!! Suddenly, he was a whisperer...Or something. He began to tell people what I was thinking. WHAT WAS HE THINKING??!! I of course, know what He is thinking. because I am smart. He is only guessing at what I know and am thinking.
Here is some history I read, OK
The Bloodhound is more than 1,000 years old. The breed was honed by the monks of St. Hubert in Belgium, and later brought to England by the Normans. The Bloodhound is also referred to as the “Flemish Hound”. Many other hound breeds like the American Coonhounds, Swiss Jura Hounds, Brazilian Fila Brasileiro, and Bavarian Mountain Hound trace their ancestry back to the Bloodhound. During the Middle Ages, the Bloodhound existed in a wide variety of colors. The white variety of Bloodhound was called the “Talbot Hound”. By the 1600’s, the Talbot Hound had died out as a breed, but its genes were passed down to many other breeds including white Boxers and tri-colored Basset Hounds. Today, however, the Bloodhound’s coat is black & tan, liver & tan, or red & tawny. Today the Bloodhound is heavily utilized as a hunting tracker and companion dog. COOL EH!
We bloodhounds can live happily in a small household or apartment if we are given sufficient exercise. We are relatively inactive indoors and are most content with at least and average-sized yard. Yes, we need lots of exercise and time to run around in open spaces. We like to go for hikes and walks, but owners should be aware of our tendency to follow interesting smells. Yeah, we have great noses and so we might take ourselves for big walks if we are not in a fenced yard.

The case of "meaningful conversations and giggling" over coffee
Well, I was walking in the park this afternoon, minding my own business, when Muffy the poodle came running up to me. Well...You will never guess what she told me!! Her humans are Carl and Sheree. Now, I don't usually gossip, BUT...Sheree has been having meaningful conversations with Jason, who is often out walking with Jack the Jack Russell.
So...What are these "meaningful conversations' about, I wanted to know. Muffy wasn't quite sure, but she said there was a lot of giggling over coffee. My goodness, I thought. That doesn't sound good - coffee and giggling. I must investigate. So, I told Muffy not to worry...That I would take on the case. My nose would be to the ground and I would spare no expense
Case One - Muffy, Sheree - Jason and Jack
Things to do
1. Check out where Muffy and Sheree are going on their walks
2..Talk to Jack the Jack Russell
3. Check out what my human knows about it. (she knows everything...I don't know how)
4. Put together a dossier with pics
Yes, I must get to work...Catch you later
